"To Die For" Pot Roast

I found this recipe on RecipeZaar.com, and yes this is it’s actual name. Let me tell you, I am not a pot roast kind of girl, but when I made this yesterday, my husband and I could see why it got its name.

Yesterday was a chilly 40-50 degree day in Central VA, which is more December weather than what we expect in October. Needless to say, we were in the cold weather mood with the fireplace on and our pot roast slow cooking away. The best part is the fact that it calls for such few ingredients! Anyone can make this. Even though the recipe doesn’t call for it, we added baby carrots and quartered potatoes – delicious! The veggies really helped round out the meal and soaked in the sauce nicely. My husband never really liked cooked carrots, but let me tell you, he cleaned his plate last night :-)
