This year, I decided I would track all of the income that is generated from our smart shopping, bank interest, cashback programs, bank offers, etc. I knew it would add up, but now I realize how much it helps us. The picture above is a snapshot of one of the sheets that I started using to track our monthly income from various miscellaneous things. This is the breakdown:
- Swagbucks Redeemed as Amazon.com giftcards: $15
- Cashback from Online Shopping Programs (see my right side-bar): $26.14
- Discover Card cashback redeemed as a CVS giftcard: $50.00
- Bank Interest: $23.77
- American Express monthly Cashback: $11.96
- Bank Offers (opened an ING checking account in Nov ’09): $121
- Profits from coupons/store rewards: $24.74
- Other Offers (transferring prescriptions, etc): $80.00
- Value of Freebies Received: $3.99
Total: $356.60!
I also used a total of $396.08 in coupons during the month!
Savings off of our total spent in groceries, HBA, Clothing, & Household items was 64%!
