US / 18+ Only :: Ends 3/27
I always wanted a play house when I was a little girl. Instead of having a real playhouse, however, I found myself fashioning pretend forts and hide-a-ways out of sheets, couch cushions, boxes…whatever I could find! I know, as adults, most of us have fond memories about playing in, or with, cardboard boxes as kids. Actually, that is where the founder of Build a Dream Playhouses came up with this idea.
A message from the Build a Dream team:
“We believe that imaginative play is absolutely critical to the developing minds of children. That is why we created a line of products centered on creativity and imagination. We supply the blank canvas for children to paint their dreams. It is truly amazing to continuously see our products transform into unique, one-of-a-kind playhouses.
Cardboard allows our products to be colored, painted, decorated, and customized to please every child’s dreams. Corrugated cardboard is also extremely durable and safe for children. Each and every product is tested to conform to the standards of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). We have also gone the extra mile to do testing not mandated by law to further ensure the safety of our products that we bring to market.
In addition to the commitment that we have to our valued customers, we also feel that as a company we have a commitment to our environment. Our products are manufactured from 80% recycled materials that result in an end product that is 100% recyclable. Our distribution center is located only 38 miles away from our manufacturer, which drastically reduces the fuel consumption required to ship our products.”
Take a look at these adorable designs:
My son is not old enough to truly enjoy his playhouse yet, but it is in a safe place awaiting him as he grows! I did take it out of the box and pop it open because I was so eager to see the design that we were sent. Of course, I also wanted to make sure I was able to provide you with an honest opinion of this product! Upon opening the box, I discovered that Build a Dream Playhouses was generous enough to send us this spectacular castle:
Pop N’ Play Castle — $59.95
When you receive your playhouse, it is completely flat:
But, watch how the product evolves:
How cool are the open windows, and doors and drawbridge that you can open and close?!
As you can see from this close-up view, the playhouse would be so much fun for kids to paint, color, and draw on! The main design is outlined for them, but they have free reign to really customize their playhouse. That’s what it’s all about!I was very, very impressed by the quality of this product. Yes, it is cardboard, but it is a very high quality product. It is apparent that the people behind Build a Dream Playhouses spent much time researching the designs and refining their products in order to come up with some very creative playhouses that kids will love!
